Bulk Import Brands

Appreciation Engine offers a bulk brand import process to streamline adding multiple brands to your AE dashboard. You can add individual brands by following our Add a Brand article.

Bulk brand import is done via a .csv file import. Download the .csv template and send it to support@appreciationengine.com once filled out.

Important Notes About the Import Process

• If you are importing new brands, leave the AEID column blank.
• Existing brands can be updated using this method. In this case, we will add their unique identifier in the AEID column.
• User URLs are not generally used, but some brands will create user accounts in order to do things like create and add to playlists. If the brand has a user URL, add it to the applicable column (e.g. SpotifyUserURL).
• Twitter and X are treated as separate services. Twitter applies to to the old Twitter, while X applies to their new API. It is fine to put the same URL for both.
• We recommend adding hashtags as we can track them across multiple services (e.g. Twitter, Instagram, Mastodon, Bluesky, etc.). Generally the hashtag is the brand name as one word - e.g. GreenDay (do not add the hashtag).
• Type defaults to Music if you leave it blank. We also support Sports, Consumer, Movie, TV, Video Games and Influencer but we are able to add more if required.
