Facebook Login On Your Website
Setting up your Facebook app with AE will allow your customers to log into your website through Facebook. That's how you will get social insights from Facebook!
Your website's Facebook login might look something like this:
Tracking Brands on Facebook
When you add one or more brands on AE, our engine will track your customers' Facebook activities relating to those brands. You can add any brand you want -- it doesn't have to be your brand! You can add brands for your competitors, potential sponsors, partners, or any other key brands that interest your business. More on brands here.

The Data AE Collects from Facebook
The data AE automatically pulls from Facebook is called Basic Social Listening. If you want to receive more information, that's what we call Custom Social Listening. You'll just have to receive permission from Facebook to request more data from your customers. Don't worry, it's not too difficult -- they just want to know that you have a good reason for requesting that information. More on that here.
Here are the member details AE collects from Facebook:
- First + last name
- Username, if available (otherwise we create one from FirstName + LastName)
- Profile image
- Remote user ID (scoped to app)
- Remote username (if available, otherwise uses ID)
- Remote user URL
- Verified email

- Liked <BrandName> on Facebook - Basic Social Listening
- Liked your brand's post - Custom Social Listening
- Mentioned your brand using your primary hashtag - Custom Social Listening
